Racing Beat's front tubular sway bars for the 1990-97 Miata applications offer you the ability to further tune your suspension to match additional suspension upgrades or to suit your particular driving style. Rated at 1.3x stronger than our Racing Beat solid front sway bars, these lightweight tubular bars have been extremely popular with Miata tuners for many years.
Specifications
The Racing Beat 1.125-inch OD tubular sway bar (.125-inch ID wall) is designed to improve the handling characteristics of your Miata for use on the street and track. (Note: The 1994-97 tubular bar is designed with one (1) end link mounting hole and differs from the 1990-93 tubular bar only in the location of this mounting hole.) All Racing Beat sway bars are finished with a distinctive, red powder coating, which provides a smooth, glossy protective layer.
By design, the Racing Beat tubular bar is substantially more rigid than the stock 3/4-inch bar, but this bar weighs just 5.5 lbs ! (As compared to the stock bar - 6 lbs.) Each bar comes supplied with replacement urethane bushings, a pack of specially designed bushing lubricant, and installation instructions.
