In racing pits throughout Europe and Asia, one complaint our engineers received about the anti-roll bars available was not the fact that they didnt prevent body roll, it was the fact that they would often cause the car to lose traction. They would make lateral roll so stiff that cars would exceed the tires lateral traction limits. With this feedback our engineers sought out to create the perfect sway bar, one that would present the ideal roll stiffness to prevent body roll but without sacrificing traction during aggressive cornering. The first step would be to creating a material that was rigid enough but still provide enough flex for the bar to prevent the lateral weight transfer that would cause a loss of traction. Another area we looked into was the dynamics of the bends also known as "take up." The difference in the density of material in the bends of many +aftermarket sway bars affect the durability and stiffness as well as the torsion rate which we wanted to make sure to address. We came up with a metal formula with similar properties of our metric coilover springs which offers great durability with an ideal level of flex to suit each intended application. Lastly, each and every application comes with a specific bushing hardness that our engineers made sure was ideal for each individual platform.
